Annandale Public Schools Preschool is a program of Annandale Community Education. Our Annandale Public Schools Preschool aligns the curriculum with Annandale Public Schools E - 12 curriculum. We are a Four Star Parent Aware rated program located conveniently at Annandale Elementary School, children must be 3 by Sept. 1, 2026 and toilet trained by the start of class to enroll. Once students are placed into a class a NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee of $50.00/child will be charged online via your account you have set up - Registration is not valid if the registration fee is not paid at the time of placing students into a class! All accounts must have a credit card or ACH account onfile to register for the 2026 - 2027 school year to be charged the $50.00/child registration fee at time of class placement! Immunization records must be uploaded at the time of registration! Preschool Parent Handbook Please select your 1st thru 3rd choice preschool sections on your request. If your 1st and 2nd choice is full, your child will be placed in your selected 3rd choice. Preschool Registration Timeline: Priority Registration is Closed. Preschool Child Care (Little Cardinals)Little Cards Childcare is a 4-star Parent Aware rated preschool child care program designed for children ages 3 years through the start of Kindergarten. The program provides a warm, caring, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports early childhood growth through play-based learning and consistent daily routines. Children participate in a variety of activities that promote social-emotional development, early learning skills, creativity, and independence, including art, music, movement, quiet play, and guided group experiences. Little Cards focuses on helping young learners feel safe, confident, and ready for the school day. Students must be fully potty trained and enrolled in an Annandale Community Education Preschool program. A toilet trained child is a child who is independently able to:1. Tell an adult they have to go potty before they have to go.2. Pull down their underwear and pants and get them back up without assistance.3. Wipe themselves after using the toilet.4. Get on and off the toilet by themselves.5. Wash and dry their own hands.6. Postpone going if they must wait for someone who is in the bathroom or if we are outside and away from the bathroom. School Year Care: Serving students enrolled in the Annandale preschool program. Child care hours for AM Preschool, $27/day, 6:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. Child care hours for PM Preschool, $27/day, 6:00 A.M. - 12:15 P.M. and 2:50 P.M. - 5:30 P.M. Non School Days, $40/Day, 6:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. Priority is given to full time care. If a child is enrolled in a 2 day preschool class they may choose to attend Child care 2 days/week or more. Summer Care: Serving Annandale preschool students 3 years of age through their first day of Kindergarten. Hours of Operation: 6:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. A minimum of 3 days per week is required. School Age Child Care (Cardinal Kids Club)Cardinal Kids Club is a school-age child care program serving students from Kindergarten through the first day of 6th grade. The program provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and creatively. Our program offers a balance of structured activities, supervised free choice, and enrichment opportunities, including active recreation, arts and crafts, STEM-based activities, homework time, and group games. Cardinal Kids Club focuses on building confidence, independence, and positive peer relationships while supporting each child’s individual interests. Students must be fully potty trained and enrolled in the Annandale School District to participate School Year Care: Serving Annandale students enrolled in TK through 5th grades. Before School Care, $9/Day, 6:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. After School Care, $12/Day, 3:00 P.M. - 5:30 P.M. Non School Day Care, $40/Day, 6:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. A minimum of 2 days per week is required. You may choose ONLY before school or ONLY after school but you must select at least 2 days of each. It CANNOT be a combination of the two.
