Join In-House 1st and 2nd Grade Basketball! This is an instructional program where students will learn the basic skills and fundamentals of basketball. This is not a travel league but will be played locally here in Annandale. Practices will be Mondays or Thursdays during the season depending on gym availability. These practices are where their skills and excitement of basketball will be developed. Saturdays will be our scrimmage days to work on the skills learned in practice. Practice days and times are subject to change due to gym availability. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program. Please indicate if you would be willing to help coach in the registration form.

After School Basketball will cover skills and fundamentals at a pace boys and girls can understand and are comfortable with. Students will learn skill development and participate in lead games, exercise, and mini games.

The Annandale Community Band is composed of musicians from surrounding communities that enjoy playing their instruments with others. Woodwind, Brass and Percussionists ages high school and older rehearse weekly. The band has opportunities to perform at various venues throughout the year. BABYSITTING 101 Ages 10 and upThis course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Minimum: 10 students Maximum: 20 students.Instructor: Emergency Outfitters. • This class is recommended for children ages 10 and up.• Feel free to bring a snack & drink to class.

BARN QUILT WORKSHOP Painting Barn Quilts is a popular, lively and rewarding 4- hour class of guided instruction which will take you through the process of barn quilting from beginning to completion. You will learn how to create a barn quilt that looks professional. You will leave with your own masterpiece, ready for hanging and unequivocal admiration! Materials included: • 2’ x 2’ Aluminum Composite. It is a premium grade material that professional sign makers use. It will never rust or rot. It is lightweight and easy to hang but very sturdy and great to work on. • 60 plus fabulous paint colors to choose from. I use the highest quality Behr 3M tape, rulers, pencils, aprons, hairdryers and yardsticks. • Many quilt block patterns to choose from that have been previously drawn out to scale.
