Annandale Junior Cards Volleyball (Travel League)RecreationOur instructional volleyball league invites girls in 5th and 6th grade to learn volleyball basics in a supportive, inclusive setting. The program emphasizes fundamentals, safety, sportsmanship, and teamwork, helping players grow both on the court and as teammates, with maximized participation for each player. Teams participate in the Waconia league, with two practices during the week and tournaments on the weekends that require travel to nearby towns (Waconia, Litchfield, Cologne, Hutchinson, Dassel-Cokato, Norwood Young America, or Jordan). By registering, families commit to the team and to regular attendance at practices and games. Consistent participation helps the entire team improve and enjoy the season. Late registrations are not guaranteed. If space allows, a late fee may be charged to cover program costs. T-shirt jerseys will be provided, so arm sleeves are highly recommended. Practice days/times may change due to coach availability and high school game schedules.5th grade: Due to past registration numbers, 5th grade will be able to choose which dates they are available for tournaments. Each girl will be assigned 3 tournament dates (pending registration numbers) that they will attend. This allows the girls to learn to work with everyone, and gives everyone fair playing time. Coaches only have to attend tournament dates that their daughter is assigned to.6th grade: There will be 3 teams registered in the Waconia League. The girls are expected to attend all tournament dates unless there is an unexpected conflict or illness. Must be an Annandale student to participateFall 2026 -
