Growing up and playing wiffle ball in the backyard are some of the best memories! Community Education aims to make some memories while playing a timeless game. Students will play in different variations of wiffle ball and compete in mini games in a fun environment!

D&D SIMPLIFIED: Adventurer’s Guild (Grades 2 & Up) Face down the forces of the Dark Wizard, save civilians and work on becoming the hero you can be. This curriculum works on skills in communication, math, reading, and critical thinking. Help the Adventurer’s Guild overthrow the Forces of Evil! Each student will come home with a set of dice and a folder with their character sheet. Note: Leave D&D materials at home

If you love playing the game of dodgeball this is the class for you! Mix it up with a variety of dodgeball games each week with your buddies! Students will be split up into age appropriate groups for dodgeball!

This is a DNR sponsored class that is required in order to obtain a Firearms Safety Certificate. Participants must be age 11 and older at the start of class. IMPORTANT: Participants must attend all sessions. If you cannot attend one of the sessions, do not sign up. Saturday's class will be a required test and field day. DNR Firearms Safety Certification is required of anyone born after 12/31/1979 in order to obtain a hunting license. Welcome to our Flag Football League! This league is perfect for athletes of all skill levels who want to enjoy the excitement and strategy of football. Our program focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development, making it a great way to learn the skills used in 5th/6th grade tackle football league! Participants will learn the fundamentals of flag football, including passing, catching, running routes, and defensive strategies. Volunteer coaches are needed for this league. Participants will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of indoor hockey. Fun mini games will be played weekly. Safe indoor sticks and eye goggles are used in this activity. A great way for students to develop their athletic skills and have fun with friends.

For both boys and girls. The Heart of The Lakes Basketball Skills Camp goals are to develop basketball skills, confidence and and overall better understanding of the game. This four day camp will have a heavy focus on the following basketball skills: ball handling, footwork, shooting mechanics, finishing moves to the basket, weak hand development, post and perimeter work, defensive work, and basketball IQ. Join us for a fun evening run or walk with your family and friends! There will be both a 1 mile fun run and a 5k race. These races will take participants around the school grounds. Put on your running shoes and bring your friends for a fun evening activity! Onsite registration will be available starting at 6:00pm, but must register by the deadline to guarantee a tshirt.

HOOKED ON COOKIES: SUMMER EDITION - (K-5TH) Dive into summer fun with Hooked on Cookie’s: Summer Edition! In this creative class, youth will decorate cookies inspired by sunny beach days and fishing adventures. From seashells and starfish to fishing poles and colorful catches, each cookie becomes a playful canvas for imagination. Participants will learn simple decorating techniques, experiment with vibrant colors, and bring their summer stories to life through edible art. At the end of class, everyone will take home their decorated cookies to share with family and friends—sweet souvenirs of a summer well spent. MIN/MAX: 6/30

No previous experience required and paddles will be provided. Please wear comfortable tennis shoes and clothing as you will be on the move!

Laser Tag Adventure at Annandale Paintball Grades 3 – 6 Get ready for an action-packed adventure with Laser Tag at Annandale Paintball! Students will participate in exciting team-based laser tag games in a safe outdoor setting designed for strategy, movement, and fun. Participants will work together to complete missions, practice teamwork, and develop quick decision-making skills while enjoying friendly competition. With experienced staff supervising the activities, this trip offers a high-energy experience that encourages collaboration, sportsmanship, and plenty of summer excitement. What to bring: Tennis shoes, athletic clothes including pants (No shorts)

LIGHTSABER FENCING: The 7 Forms (Grades 1 & Up) In this class, we learn how to lightsaber-fence, starting simply and becoming more advanced. Each of the seven forms has a different perspective that can be applied in the dueling ring and outside of it. This course will help you combine the mind and body in a way that improves mental health as well as physical health. Students will start with drills and games, practicing their skills to use in a tournament at the end of class. Note: Bring a water bottle and closed toe shoes. Leave all lightsabers at home. The instructor will provide the training sabers and protective equipment.
