Babysitting 101EnrichmentBABYSITTING 101 Ages 10 and upThis course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. This curriculum works on skills in communication, math, reading, and critical thinking. Help the Adventurer’s Guild overthrow the Forces of Evil! Firearm Safety ClassEnrichmentThis is a DNR sponsored class that is required in order to obtain a Firearms Safety Certificate. Participants must be age 11 and older at the start of class. IMPORTANT: Participants must attend all sessions. If you cannot attend one of the sessions, do not sign up. Saturday's class will be a required test and field day. DNR Firearms Safety Certification is required of anyone born after 12/31/1979 in order to obtain a hunting license. Parents: Please arrive with your student at 5:30 the first night for instructions and a short video. Learn how to adapt, lose, and try again until you claim victory! Play against classmates first with basic decks, then with more advanced decks. Discover the secrets of Pokemon and how to battle more effectively so you can come out on top! Everyone will go home with a deck of their own! Note: Please do not bring your own Pokemon to class.
